I haven't really talked about niches in a while, have I?

He points out that you're never going to come up with a totally new idea -- such things don't really exist. Instead, he says, come up with a better way to do a tried and true idea. You do that by immersing yourself in the market you're interested in.
Then, specialize as much as possible. After all, that's pretty much what a niche is, right?
And if you have tiny subsection as your niche, you'll become an expert, be easier to find in Google, be able to find or create a community, and have an easier time selling whatever it is you want to sell.
He then plugs an hour-long video that, admittedly, I haven't watched, so I can't comment on. If anyone here has seen it, let us know if it's useful?
But overall, he says, the important thing is to pick your topic, and embrace it.
Sounds like good advice to me.
